Cleansing The Mind
For a devotee the senses are like a snake with no teeth – they cannot harm you and in fact they become your friend. More than the body your mind is attached to the senses so cleansing your mind with Hari naam is the only way.
Detachment
Detachment to material world can only come when we replace it with attachment for Krishna.
Attachment
To the degree we are attached for our sense gratification to that degree we are envious of the Lord.
A Devotee
A devotee is very forgiving and tolerant of others but is very strict and determined with himself guarding against Maya.
