Prahlad Maharaj made things very simple, if you want to be happy in this world, then simply stop trying to be happy in this world; then you would be happy, but as long as you are trying to be happy in this world, you have to suffer because it a place of death.
Enlightenment is constant awareness of this world as inherently divine, of life as a loving partnership with God and every moment as an opportunity to offer and receive love.
Purification means bringing something back to its natural state. Just like pure water means there is no contamination in it.
Before we can save the drowning person, we must become proficient swimmers. If we become convinced of the need of genuine spirituality and practice it in our life, then our words and our examples will have a powerful effect on those around us and the world at large.
