The devotee who becomes helpless by the will of the Lord is more fortunate than those who are born in good families. The fallen devotee born in a good family may forget the lotus feet of the Lord because they are less fortunate, but the devotee who is put into forlorn condition is more fortunate because he swiftly returns to the lotus feet of the Lord thinking himself helpless all around. – Srimad Bhagavatam, 01.05.19.
Radha Krishna. Radha's name is first. Why? Nobody can be better devotee than Radharani. As soon as Radha's name is there, Krishna is more pleased. That is the way. If we glorify the devotees, the character of the devotees, before the Lord, he is more pleased than to glorify Himself, He directly. — in his conversations, Hawai, 24th April, 1969.
I regard as great even the smallest gift offered by My devotees in pure love, but even great offerings presented by nondevotees do not please Me
That is my ideal of life, to form a nice group of devotees to perform Sankirtana and to distribute our books in wider circles.
Letter to Gurudasa – Los Angeles 5 February, 1969.
This is the divinity of the Personality of Godhead: He is not affected by the qualities of material nature, even though he is in contact with them. Similarly, the devotees who have taken shelter of the Lord do not become influenced by the material qualities.
A devotee should always aspire to live in the association of advanced devotees and engage in the service of the Lord through the parampara system.
