The Camel is a kind of animal that takes pleasure in eating thorns. The thorns, mixed with fresh blood, create a taste for the foolish camel and so he enjoys the thorn-eating business with false pleasure. A person who wants to enjoy family life or the worldly life of so-called enjoyment is compared to the camel.
BOOKS ARE THE BASIS

Everyone tries to become happy by planning in the material world, but the law of nature is so cruel that it sets fire to one’s schemes.
Srimad Bhagavatam 3.5.2,
Any person who is chanting the holy names of Krishna (Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare/ Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare) in course of chanting without offenses feels some transcendental pleasure and very quickly becomes puriﬁed of all material contamination.
