Just as the standard of money is not currency like the dollar, yen, or ruble, but gold, so rasa is the standard of realization of the Absolute.
A rich person utilizes his wealth in entertainment, but a devotee utilizes it to worship the deity of the Lord.
One should not be idle but should be very enthusiastic about executing the regulative principles. Neglect of the regulative principles will destroy devotional service. In this Krishna consciousness movement there are four basic regulative principles, forbidding illicit sex, meat-eating, gambling and intoxication. A devotee must be very enthusiastic about following these principles. If he becomes slack in following any of them, his progress will certainly be checked. — The Nectar of instruction, Text 03.
A devotee knows that even at his death Krishna will protect him. The real test of our devotion will be at that time.
Our main business is Sankirtana & distribution of literature. If Krishna gives us a better place, that is all right. Otherwise, we can remain at any place never mind hell or heaven, we should propagate our Sankirtana movement.
A virtue which is divine is humility.
In the Bhagavad Gita it is stated that the living entity is never born and he never dies. He is eternal & indestructible & he continues to live after the destruction of his temporary material body.
The spirit soul is ever fresh. He is always different from the material body & mind is always subject to disturbances.
If God wants to kill somebody, nobody can protect him and if God wants to protect him, nobody can kill him.
