Prabhupada [used to have] big festivals in Hyderabad. And there was a severe drought; for two years they hadn't had any rain. It was hot. So they had big kirtana and had big festival in the city, and in two days there was good rain.

Scientific progress is making so many problems, huge problems and it will get worse too. All over the world there is, all the time, some drought, flood, cyclones. So the immediate cause, you can say, is the depletion of the ozone layer, or the melting of the ice at the North and South Pole. But the ultimate reason is that they are performing so many sinful activities.

Prabhupada very much wanted that devotees come and live together. Of course he wanted them to also farm the land, protect cows and show a different kind of lifestyle by which people can live together simply without unnecessary things.
