Significance of Bhagavad Gita
Bhagavad Gita is also known as Gitopaniṣad. It is the essence of Vedic knowledge and one of the most important Upanisads in Vedic literature.
Bhagavad Gita Introduction,
Srila Prabhupada.
Beginning of all knowledge comes from humility.
Whatever knowledge we acquire should be used in Krishna consciousness.
Vedanta means ultimate knowledge. Knowledge is never perfect unless one comes to the point of understanding Krishna. To remain in Krishna Consciousness is actual understanding of Vedanta.
Letter to Janardana — Los Angeles 21 January, 1968,
Srila Prabhupada
Knowledge of Krishna is such a great gift that it is impossible to repay the benefactor.
Srimad Bhagavatam 4.22.47,
Srila Prabhupada
