Bhagavad Gita
The revealed scriptures, like Manu-samhitha and similar other scriptures, are considered the standard books to be followed by human society. Thus, the leader’s teaching should be based on the principles of such standard saastras. One who desires to improve himself must follow the standard rules as they are practiced by the great teachers.
Bhagavad Gita
If you become conscious of Me (Lord Krishna), you will pass over all the obstacles of conditioned life by My (Krishna’s) grace. If, however, you do not work in such consciousness, but act through false ego, not hearing Me, you will be lost.
Bhagavad Gita
When one is fully engaged in Krishna consciousness, beginning by chanting the maha-mantra – Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare – then only can one understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
