Higher Principle
We have to be very enthusiastic and eager to accomplish wonderful things for God, but it must always be with a focus on the higher principle. It must always be harmonized with the higher principle of pleasing Him.

Pure devotees, who take transcendental pleasure in hearing and chanting the glories of the Lord, do not care for any kind of liberation; even if they are offered the five liberations, they refuse to accept them
Practical action is the best way to show our determination. So while chanting, we should show our determination to be attentive. This attracts Krishna's attention.
By chanting of Hare Krishna, you have the Lord with you and He satisfies you. He pleases you. You are pleased with your Lord. He is also the Lord of your heart.
If one is worshiping Lord Hari [Krishna], what is the use of performing extraneous penances? On the other hand, if one is not worshiping Lord Hari, no such penances will save one.
The highest is the Vaishnava. Ideal vaishnava means he is a parama-hamsa. That means he is not envious from anybody. He is always thinking how to take others back to Godhead.
