Sincere Devotional Service
If one renders even a small amount of sincere devotional service, Krishna becomes obliged to elevate such person and what to speak of one whose entire life and soul has been dedicated to Krishna’s service.
Devotional service
Devotional service is dependent on the mercy of Krishna and His devotees. Unless we surrender to the lotus feet of a pure devotee, it is not possible to come to the platform of pure devotional service. By his own efforts a bee cannot taste the honey within a bottle. The bottle must be opened by a superior. If the bee simply licks the outside of the bottle, thinking “Now I am tasting honey,” then he is in illusion. Similarly, no one can enter into devotional service unless the door is opened by a devotee.
Spending Time in Krishna’s Service
In the transcendental loving service of the Lord, it does not matter whether we are working, cooking, painting, writing, chanting, or whatever. They are all the same. There are no such distinctions of higher and lower on the transcendental platform. The important thing is that we are engaging our time and energy in the service of the Lord. After all, we are so tiny, what can we do? Krishna sees simply that this time is being spent in His service.
Performing Our Duties Nicely
Please do your duties nicely and Krishna will be pleased to shower His blessings upon you. He is very kind to sincere souls, and He gives intelligence from within to sincere devotees. We require only to become sincere in the service of the Lord, then everything is there ready for our convenience.
Working Sincerely
We have to work sincerely and because Krishna is in everyone’s heart, there will be no difficulty to have the necessary facilities.
Devotees
Krishna takes a special appreciation for His devotees who are engaged in risking for His preaching work and He will give you special care and guidance at all times because you are sincerely trying to serve Him in this way.
