1. You should be trinad api sunicha. If someone abuses you, hurts you, humiliates you, even if you are not wrong, still be quite. This is sadhu. If you are not acting like a sadhu, then what is the benefit of putting dress of a sadhu.
2. Don’t give trouble to any living entities, either physically, mentally or emotionally.
If you get something from someone, you must reciprocate. Otherwise you have to come again and pay. So whatever you get, reciprocate. Don’t take burden.
Simply by giving aural reception to this Vedic literature [Srimad-Bhagavatam], the feeling for loving devotional service to Lord Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, sprouts up at once to extinguish the fire of lamentation, illusion, and fearfulness.
To have mental concentration one must be cheerful and peaceful. By cultivating friendship with equals, respect for seniors, compassion for juniors and indifference towards sinners one will destroy envy, hatred and aversion and become happy and serene.

Be satisfied with who you are. If you are not, you will tend to be jealous of others and unhappy with yourself. Be happy with the way Krsna made you and use the gifts He has given you to further your service.
Sometimes another devotee’s light starts going out, and you might be the very person who can rekindle it into a flame. You might not always think you can or should do much, but often a few words of sympathy or encouragement, even to a devotee you don’t know – or don’t know well – can make a huge difference in their lives.
In the month of Karttika, one should daily worship Lord Damodara and sing the Damodarastaka (the eight prayers of lord damodara) which pleases Lord Damodara, written by the sage named Satyavrata.
In the beautiful Govardhana area there is Radhakunda (a lake of radharani) which is very dear to Lord Sri Hari. One, who takes bath in it on the eighth day of the dark moon night of Karttika, becomes very dear to Lord Sri Hari.
If one chants the holy name of the Lord just to make a show, not knowing the secret of success, he may increase his bile secretion, but he will never attain perfection in chanting the holy name.
