Being Self Controlled

Without being self-controlled, without being disciplined and without being fully obedient, no one can become successful in following the instructions of the spiritual master and without doing so, no one is able to go back to Godhead.

Living

The person who has not at any time received the dust of the feet of the Lord's pure devotee upon his head is certainly a dead body and the person who has never experienced the aroma of the tulasi leaves from the lotus feet of the Lord is also a dead body, although breathing.

Tolerating Troubles & Obstacles

If some troubles and obstacles are there in executing Guru-seva, tolerate and be humble. In this way, you are developing vaishnava qualities and becoming eligible to go back to Godhead.

Team Efforts

The Lord is more pleased when we make a team effort. The idea is to work together whether we are god brothers or god sisters, same diksha guru or shiksha guru, cousin brothers and sisters working under Prabhupada's movement, the success will be how we cooperate together, that pleases Krishna. He sees that we are sacrificing our own ego, our own selfish interests to work together. Working together means always some adjustments everybody has the nature all the nature doesn't combine perfectly so we tolerate many things we try to see the good quality in others and we try to ignore the negative aspects one has for the higher purpose . This  is the integration through cooperation, through communication and understanding through love.

Receiving The Desired Things

Krishna does many things, if you want something constructive and something useful he wiil give it to you but then he will also see whether you are ready for it . So it takes time sometimes to get the blessings of Krishna, it doesn't come when we want it, they come when we are ready for it.

Become Godly

1. To become assistant of a king, one has to qualify. To become an associate of the Lord, one has to become very godly.

2. If you surrender to God, you will become godly.

Meek & Humble

Krishna das Kaviraja Goswami here considers himself lower than the worm of the stool. We can also say like that. Giving lip service is very easy. Krishna will know what we are actually thinking of ourselves. But a true vaishnava feels like that from inside.
