In giving respect we can be very happy, because we can do it in all situations. When we expect respect we are miserable, because it is not that everyone in every situation will respect us.
Envy is “I want to be seen as important and great” and if anyone is a threat to my egoistic ideas, then there is negativity towards that person.
In our devotion to the Lord, we are all equal. When a devotee is praised, he treats it as a warning.
In this age of quarrel and hypocrisy, it is more difficult to cooperate than to move mountains.
If you boast your glories in front of devotees, they will consider you a fool. If you present yourself as a fool, they will consider you great. However, if you act as a fool, they will simply confirm it.
Finding our real home i.e. Goloka Vrindavan will give us eternal happiness.
It is better to correct the mistake then to live with it.
There cannot be love without trust and there cannot be trust unless we take the responsibility to act in a way that people can trust us.
The foundational prayer of our movement by Srila Prabhupada is to become a puppet in the hands of the Lord. When we take credit for what we do our strings are cut.
