The one thing that we always need for our spiritual survival is the association of the devotees and the regular chanting of the holy names. If we lose either of these two principles which are actually one in essence, then we lose our connection to Krishna.
Real tolerance is not just tolerating for the sake of tolerating. It is tolerating difficulties in order to give pleasure to Krishna and to serve others.
A lot of forgiveness, tolerance, respect, etc. is required in Kali Yuga to breed actual love.
Tears for Lord Krishna are as good as associating with Him personally. In the spiritual world separation is more valuable than meeting.
If we approach Krishna in a leisurely way, then Krishna will give us some leisurely realization of Him. If we approach Krishna very urgently, desperately, with great need then Krishna will give us a very intense experience of His presence in our life.
Unless we have hunger, we cannot digest properly, no matter how palatable the food is. It will not really benefit us. Similarly, there should be a great desperation that I need God, I need His mercy and then we can digest this topmost knowledge properly
The same mind and senses can either elevate us or degrade us. It just depends on the type of pleasure we are looking for.
We should know that any facility to enjoy in this material world is Maya’s trick to somehow or other distract us away from the urgent need to be Krishna conscious.
Spirituality does not deny the senses and the mind. It purifies them by using them for the highest, sweetest and most enlightening purposes.
Philosophy without proper behavior is practically useless.
