Revealation

Don’t jump hastly into some work. Pray to your Guru in mangala-arati time, brahma muhurta and Krishna is within your heart. He will reveal from within. You should see what is practical. That means whatever you are thinking to do, is it on the way to please yourGuru.

Result of not Hearing

1. One who doesn’t hear from Guru properly, he will not advance.

2. If a disciple doesn’t get a clear understanding of what the desire of the spiritual master is, then he becomes bewildered and he may not last long in spiritual life.

Do what Guru says

1. Don’t see what others are doing. Do what Guru says. You may not be recognised by others. But that will please Guru.

2. Bhakti means devotional service, we have to serve Krishna. What Guru says, we have to do it.

3. Prabhupada was serving Krishna even at the last movement of his life. He was translating. Service means what spiritual authority says, you do that.

Inquiring Honestly

If you are doing bhajan properly, Krishna will give you intelligence. If intelligence is not coming, then understand that there may be something wrong with me. I am not doing proper sadhana, not doing devotional service with joy, doing everything mechanically, enjoying in bhakti, behaving with Guru like a materialistic worldly person, not telling him what my internal problem is. If you won’t tell doctor exactly what your problem is, you tell something else, but he is judging the nerve that the disease is different than what you are telling, then how will he cure you?

Full Obedience

1. Unless you are fully obedient to the spiritual master, it is not possible to follow the instructions. Unless you follow the instructions of the spiritual master, you can’t be successful in spiritual life because everything depends on the spiritual master’s pleasure upon you and his blessings. So it is called sadhana. Just blindly follow.

2. Be very careful to follow the instructions of a Sad-guru, otherwise you don’t know what your destiny holds.

Choice of Learning

One who strictly follows what Sad-guru says, he doesn’t have to learn in a hard way, bitter experiences. Prabhupada says that intelligent, ’su-medhasa’ listens to experienced devotees and acts accordingly and gets more benefit. Otherwise one who goes by his own mind and experiences has to learn in a hard way.

Life and Soul

1. Make Guru’s words as your life and soul, then your life will be Successful.

2. We have to take these instructions of Prabhupada at our heart. Opportunity is knocking.
