The Bhagavad-gita can be consulted in all critical times, not only for solace from all kinds of mental agonies, but also for the way out of great entanglements which may embarrass one in some critical hour.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1.15.27,
One Sayss to a miser, “At least give some trash to others and practice your hand to give.”
Detached branches and leaves dry up gradually despite all watering attempts. Similarly, human society, when it is detached from the Personality of Godhead like detached branches and leaves, is not capable of being watered, and one attempting to do so is simply wasting his energy and resources.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.4,
Whoever sees Lord Krishna sees a festival. His face and body are fully satisfying for everyone to see.
Srimad Bhagavatam 9.24.65,
Preching means book distribution.
My Guru Maharaj used to say,”Don’t worry about the money. Do something nice for Krishna and money will come.” So we should always be thinking how to distribute the message of Krishna, and surely he will give us facility. Even an ordinary man, if the wants publicity, then he gives so much money for the propagnada works. Similarly, Krishna is not poor. He can supply any amount for the devotees engaged in brodcasting his glories.
A pure devotee has no demand from the Lord. His only concern is to serve the Lord sincerely and seriously and he is not at all concerned about what will happen in the future. — Srimad Bhagavatam, 04.09.29.
One should try to purchase a ticket to go back home, back to Godhead. The price of such a ticket is one’s intense desire for it, which is not easily awakened, even if one continually performs pious activities for thousands of lives. All mundane relationships are sure to be broken in the course of time but once one establishes a relationship with the Supreme Personality of Godhead in a particular rasa, it is never to be broken, even after the annihilation of the material world. — Sri Caitanya Caritamrita, Adi Lila, Chapter 01, Text 56.
