A Vaisnava is personally tolerant for the benefit of others. When he does not show his prowess, this does not mean that he is lacking in strength ; rather, it indicates that he is tolerant for the welfare of the entire human society.

Every one should be friendly for the service of the Lord. Every one should praise another’s service to the Lord and not be proud of his own service. This is the way of Vaisnava thinking, Vaikuntha thinking.
A pure devotee of the Lord accepts tribulations as favors from the Lord. Since the Lord is absolute, there is no mundane difference between the two.
There is no eye equal to knowledge, no austerity equal to speaking the truth, no misery equal to attachment and no happiness equal to detachment.
