Lord Chaitanya says, param vijayatesri-Krishna-sankirtanam: “All glories to the chanting of sri-Krishna-sankirtana!” The maha-mantra — Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare — is directly chanted by the Lord Himself, who gives us this mantra for deliverance.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1.18.7
Even if devotees excuse those who insult them, Krishna takes a diffrent position and he is strict on this matter. Krishna will not excuse or tolerate any insult of his devotees. If we want to please Krishna, we must never insult his devotees. — Lecture on Bhagavad Gita, 01.26-27, London, 1973.
