By rendering devotional service unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna, one immediately acquires causeless knowledge and detachment from the world. If one engages in the service of Vasudeva, Krishna, this knowledge comes and one becomes a mahatma. A mahatma is one who realizes that Krishna is everything. He does not defy Krishna or try to become Krishna. One who does so is not a mahatma, but a duratma, a rascal.
If one is situated in real Krishna consciousness, he can face the most severe type of adversity and remain completely undisturbed.
Krishna is the origin of Lord Vishnu. He should always be remembered and never forgotten at any time.
One who constantly sings the glories of the Lord is surely elevated to the same planet as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Lord Krishna appreciates this singing even more than the prayers offered by Lord Siva.
In the Gita, in plain and simple language, it is stated that Sri Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There is none equal to or greater than Him. He is the root of the impersonal Brahman and Paramatma, the Supersoul in every entity is His plenary portion. He is the fountainhead of everything and everyone is advised to surrender unto His lotus feet.
Krishna is the supreme will in Himself and He exercises His supreme power at His pleasure, which submits to no law, because all law has proceeded from His will and power.
