The elephant may take a very nice bath in the river, but as soon as it comes onto the bank, it throws dirt all over its body. What, then is the value of its bathing? Similarly, many spiritual practitioners chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and at the same time commit many forbidden things, thinking that their chanting will counteract their offenses.
In this age one simply has to chant the holy name of God to attain perfection in spiritual life.

To be Krishna Conscious means to remember Krishna all the time and to be prepared for death all the time.
If one has killed an animal, one must himself be killed by that same animal. This is called mamsa. Mam means “me,” and sa means “he.” As I am eating an animal, that animal will have the opportunity to eat me.

One second of human life wasted in the vain research of planning for happiness in the material world can never be replaced even if one spends millions of coins of gold.
Human Life is meant for reviving one’s eternal relation with the Lord and all religious injunctions are meant for awakening this dormant instinct of the living entity.
Hankering after material happiness is called Lust & such activities are sure to meet with frustration in the long run.
