In many lives you had husband, wife,son or whatever. Give one life for Krishna. He is your mother, father and everything and see what He gives. Whatever attachment you have, you put it in Krishna and His devotee’s service. See how Krishna responds. All these things are temporary and binding to the material existence. If you serve Krishna and get attachment to Krishna, then this will make you free from material entanglements.
When we are raising a child, we have to see the relationship with the whole future of the child, development of emotions, psychology and faith of the child.
Krishna and pure devotees see through the substance, not the maya the world sees through.
The purpose of disturbances in our life is to break us from our complacency, to give us a sense of really needing to dive deeper into the constant current of truth that is steady and peaceful.
There cannot be love without trust and there cannot be trust unless we take the responsibility to act in a way that people can trust us.
Human life is specifically meant for self-realization. It is the junction from where we can depart from the path of illusion and enter onto the free way of truth.
A person acting for Krishna or in Krishna Consciousness, under proper guidance and without attachment to the result of the work, is certainly making progress.
The perfection of yoga is to become detached and the perfection of detachment is to become completely attached, attached to God.
You may say that Srila Prabhupada didn't do this or He didn't do that but we should see what He did – He spread Krishna consciousness all over the world.
