It is true that by practicing restraint of the senses by the yoga system one can get relief from the disturbances of desire and lust, but this is not sufficient to give satisfaction to the soul, for this satisfaction is derived from devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. — Srimad Bhagavatam, 01.16.35.
Mundane educational qualifications are no evidence of genuine intelligence. Rather they are a certificate of a person’s stupidity or at least misfortune in having dedicated much time and energy in amassing information that has no intrinsic value.
Unfortunately we do not research our heart for how much affection we have for a person, till he disappears.
Even in the womb of the mother you will suffer. To remain in that compact bag for so many months, hands and legs all tied up, unable to move this is suffering. So we should be intelligent enough to ask, “Why am I suffering? and how can I stop this suffering?”
What cannot be achieved through the performance of Vedic rituals can be easily achieved through the chanting of the Lord’s holy name.
